Whilst pumping is our namesake, at Pumprite we have in house electrical engineers who work solely on providing electrical engineering services in both in our pumping and treatment works and in wider industry applications.

Our engineers are fully qualified with a number of years’ experience undertaking all aspects of electrical work and specialising in the heavy industry sector.

About our service

Our in house team puts us uniquely placed in being able to manage all aspects of a pumping station or sewage treatment plant installation, right from the design and specification, through to commissioning without requiring electrical contractors to provide supplies for the equipment prior to installation.

All our electrical works are fully compliant with the relevant regulations including BS 7671:2018 Wiring Regulations and fully tested and certified on completion. In addition to the electrical services provided as part pumping and drainage works we offer a number of other services including but not limited to:

New Electrical Supplies – Liasing with the local supply authority to specify a new connection and providing the required equipment on the consumer side including main distribution boards.
Industrial Site Maintenance – Breakdown attendance to industrial sites within the Manufacturing & Aggregate sectors with holiday / shift cover service available.
Industrial Installations – New installations or amendments to existing systems in the industrial sector, previous projects include conveyor belt drives & mains supplies, motor replacements, provision of local isolators for motors & site lighting upgrades.
Process Control & Monitoring – Fault diagnosis on process control instrumentation & sensors, replacement & commissioning services.
Inspection & Testing – Full electrical inspection & testing services for Fixed wiring, Portable appliances and plant emergency stop testing.
